Which cards can be placed inside the sleeve?

The sleeve is intended for standard-size contactless credit cards, debit cards, selected identification cards and compatible transit cards. Check the card dimensions and product specifications before use.

Does the card need to be removed before payment?

Yes. The sleeve is designed to interrupt contactless communication, so the card should be removed before tapping it on a reader. Inserted-chip and magnetic-stripe transactions also require removal.

Does it protect every type of card?

It is intended for compatible contactless RFID or NFC cards. It does not add protection to cards that do not use radio-frequency communication.

Does the sleeve require charging or activation?

No. The shielding comes from the sleeve's conductive material, so no battery, application, switch or wireless connection is required.

Can several cards be placed in one sleeve?

The sleeve is designed primarily for one standard card. Inserting several cards may make removal difficult, deform the sleeve or prevent the cards from fitting completely inside.

How can the shielding be checked?

Place a compatible card fully inside the sleeve and hold it near a contactless reader without completing a transaction. The reader should not detect the enclosed card. Follow all reader and card-provider rules when performing a test.

Does this prevent every form of payment-card fraud?
